Fujitsu Unveils FUJITSU-MONAKA CPU and Server for Sovereign AI Infrastructure

Fujitsu Limited announced the global sales launch of its next-generation CPU, FUJITSU-MONAKA, designed and developed in Japan. Starting November 2026, the 2nm 3D-stacked CPU will be available as a standalone product and integrated into the Fujitsu MONAKA Server. These products aim to provide high reliability and power efficiency for sovereign AI infrastructure, offering world-class computational performance and data supply capabilities, with twice the AI inference throughput and superior power efficiency compared to other CPUs. The server will be available to data center operators, enterprises, and academic sectors in Japan and Europe, as well as the defense sector.
