Anthropic Secures $13.7 Billion AI Computing Power Deal with RUM Group

Anthropic has entered into a significant six-year agreement with RUM Group Inc. for $13.7 billion in computing power procurement. This strategic partnership aims to bolster Anthropic's capabilities in the rapidly expanding AI sector, driven by increasing demand for its products, Claude and Cowork. RUM Group, which recently acquired Northern Data, is expanding into the AI cloud sector, gaining access to 22,000 NVIDIA Hopper GPUs and initiating a new data center in Georgia.
