A critical remote code execution vulnerability, CVE-2026-59310, in VMware vCenter Server is being actively exploited by ransomware gangs. This flaw, rated with a CVSS score of 9.8, allows attackers to execute arbitrary code remotely. Despite a fix being released in July, the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency has confirmed ongoing exploitation by malicious actors.
