Boston Dynamics Establishes Robotics Center at Hyundai Metaplant for Atlas Robot Integration

Boston Dynamics has launched a new robotics center at Hyundai Motor Group's Metaplant America to integrate its Atlas humanoid robots into manufacturing operations. The center, operational since June, will train robots for repetitive tasks and heavy lifting, with a goal of component assembly by 2030. Hyundai plans to deploy 25,000 Atlas units globally and establish a U.S. facility to produce 30,000 robots annually, signaling a major step in industrial automation.
