Synopsys and Amazon Announce Multi-year IP Agreement for Custom Silicon, Expanding Cloud and AI-Powered Engineering Collaboration

Synopsys and Amazon have entered a strategic, multi-year agreement valued at over $1 billion, expanding Amazon's use of Synopsys' silicon IP for custom chip innovation and advancing AI-powered products and cloud infrastructure. The collaboration also extends to Synopsys' EDA, simulation and analysis, and agentic AI technologies, with Synopsys accelerating product development using AWS services and optimizing its software on Amazon's Trainium and Graviton chips.
