Infineon Inaugurates New Backend Semiconductor Manufacturing Plant in Bangkok, Thailand

Infineon Technologies has officially opened a new backend semiconductor manufacturing site in Bangkok, Thailand. This strategic investment strengthens and diversifies Infineon's global production network, adding capacity for future growth driven by digitalization and energy transition. The facility is designed for phased expansion up to five modules, with the potential to become one of Infineon's largest backend manufacturing sites, creating up to 1,000 highly skilled jobs and utilizing 100% green electricity and advanced automation.
