Cloudflare Launches Web Search API via AI Gateway for Developers

Cloudflare has announced the launch of its Web Search API, available today via AI Gateway, in partnership with web search providers like Ceramic.ai, Exa, and Linkup. This new API aims to provide grounded intelligence for AI agents by enabling them to browse the internet and base their responses on live information. The initiative emphasizes honest and transparent crawling practices, requiring partners to comply with Cloudflare's 'Verified bots' standards and include links to crawled content in search responses.
