Amazon Announces New Transparency Policies for Data Center Development, Including Halting NDAs

Amazon has committed to new transparency efforts for its data center development, including discontinuing the use of nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) with government agencies. The tech giant also pledged to engage with the public earlier and more frequently, and to make public commitments regarding water and energy use, in response to growing public opposition to data center projects.
