GlobalFoundries and TSMC Partner on US Interposer Production for CoWoS

GlobalFoundries and TSMC have announced a five-year agreement to establish a domestic U.S. supply chain for silicon interposers, critical components for TSMC's CoWoS advanced packaging ecosystem used in high-performance AI chips. This partnership aims to strengthen the semiconductor supply chain and accelerate innovation in AI accelerators.
