Microsoft 365 Reduces OneDrive Cloud Storage for Family and Premium Subscribers

Microsoft has announced a significant reduction in OneDrive cloud storage for its 365 Family and Premium tier subscribers. Previously offering 1TB per user (up to 6TB total), these plans will now share a combined 2TB of storage among all users. This policy change, effective upon renewal after May 2, 2027, aims to provide a 'more flexible experience' but will result in a substantial decrease in combined storage capacity for many existing subscribers.
