Cloudflare has launched Cloudflare Basin, a new data platform designed to provide developers and enterprises with a simpler, more cost-effective way to build data-driven applications. Built on Apache Iceberg and Cloudflare R2, Basin offers an open, serverless solution for ingesting, storing, cataloging, and querying analytical data using existing tools, aiming to reduce management overhead and data movement.
