GlobalFoundries Chosen for New York Semiconductor Fabs in US-Japan Partnership

GlobalFoundries has been selected to operate two new semiconductor manufacturing facilities in Malta, New York. This initiative, supported by up to $21 billion in U.S.-Japan funding, aims to expand trusted semiconductor production in the United States. The expansion is intended to strengthen critical supply chains for automotive, industrial, and connected infrastructure markets.
