Databricks Launches Private Network Gateway for Simplified Serverless Access to Private Networks

Databricks has introduced Private Network Gateway, a new feature designed to simplify secure access from serverless compute into customer-controlled private subnets. This gateway replaces complex per-resource networking setups with a managed, encrypted connection, allowing existing routes, DNS, and firewall rules to govern access to private databases, internal APIs, and package repositories. The Private Network Gateway is currently in public preview on Azure and private preview on AWS, with Google Cloud support under development.
