TSMC Posts Sixth Consecutive Record Quarter, Driven by Robust AI Chip Demand

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) has reported its sixth consecutive quarterly record, with third-quarter 2026 revenue reaching $46.87 billion, a 41.1% year-over-year increase. Net profit surged by nearly 70% to approximately NT$763 billion, surpassing Wall Street estimates. This sustained growth underscores the ongoing and robust demand for AI chips, which TSMC's CEO attributes partly to the rising adoption of agentic AI and open-source AI models.
