TSMC Halts Some Construction After Fatal Accident at Fab 22 Site

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co (TSMC) has suspended some construction work following an accident at its Fab 22 building site in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, which resulted in four worker fatalities. The incident occurred during steel structure construction. TSMC has halted similar steel structure construction at all its sites across Taiwan while collaborating with authorities to determine the cause of the accident.
