ConnectWise Updates on Cloud Backup Security Incident and Critical PHP Vulnerabilities

ConnectWise has provided an update on an ongoing security incident involving unauthorized access to application credentials for its Cloud Backup service (formerly SkyKick), with restoration and security validation progressing. Separately, the company also highlighted two critical vulnerabilities in PHP, a widely used web technology, which could enable unauthorized code execution and urged partners to apply immediate security updates.
