China Issues Guidelines to Promote Employment Amid AI Advances

China's State Council has released new guidelines aimed at leveraging artificial intelligence to create jobs, improve employment quality, and stimulate entrepreneurship, while also addressing potential job displacement. The guidelines outline 18 tasks across six areas, focusing on expanding opportunities in emerging AI fields, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, fostering new forms of employment, and developing AI-related occupations.
