Leaked Video Shows Chinese Factories Dismantling RTX 5090s for AI Servers

A leaked video has revealed industrial-scale operations in China where brand-new Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics cards are being dismantled by the thousands. The GPU dies and memory chips are desoldered and transplanted into blower designs optimized for high-density server racks, fueling massive AI compute clusters. This practice highlights the intense demand for AI hardware and the significant grey-market activity in repurposing consumer GPUs for professional AI applications, contributing to the scarcity of RTX 5090s in retail.
