Cadence Unveils New AI Models for Chip and System Design

Cadence Design Systems has launched Maestro, a new portfolio of AI models specifically developed for semiconductor and electronic-system design. These models, partly based on Nvidia's Nemotron technology, can be deployed on-premises or in the cloud. Early results indicate up to 30% higher output quality and five times greater token efficiency compared to general-purpose foundation models, potentially enhancing design workflows.
