South Korean startup FuriosaAI Inc. has raised $620 million in funding, led by the National Growth Fund, to accelerate the production of its energy-efficient artificial intelligence processors. The investment aims to challenge Nvidia's dominance and address the power consumption bottleneck in data centers by scaling its Tensor Contraction Processor (TCP) chips.
