Mistral AI Releases Open-Weight Mistral Large 4 Model for Coding and Defensive Cyber

Mistral released the weights for Mistral Large 4, a one-trillion-parameter, natively multimodal mixture-of-experts model with 52 billion active parameters. The model, which followed three additional weeks of reinforcement learning after its public preview, reports 48% on the Artificial Analysis Coding Agent Index and 51% on the Artificial Analysis Cyber Index. It can be downloaded and deployed with vLLM or SGLang, offering security teams the option to keep source code, logs, and policies within their own environments.
