Blockchain analytics firm Chainalysis has confirmed a data breach in October 2026, where an external attacker gained unauthorized access to its systems and internal tools. The company stated that the attacker utilized "offensive agentic techniques," suggesting the involvement of AI agents in the intrusion. The breach exposed non-sensitive account details, including user IDs, full names, email addresses, and organization role labels.
