Google Rolls Out Gemini 4 Carbon to Cybersecurity Defenders for Vulnerability Discovery and Patching

Google is beginning a phased rollout of its Gemini 4 Carbon AI model, initially to selected cybersecurity defenders. This model is designed to enhance vulnerability discovery, assess exploitability, and generate fixes for software. Internal testing showed significant improvements in reducing unsupported claims and high-severity misalignment alerts, with a zero percent attack success rate on the Gray Swan indirect prompt injection benchmark.
