NVIDIA and Cisco Partner to Unveil USFP Optical Technology for Next-Generation AI Factories

NVIDIA and Cisco are collaborating to develop USFP optical technology, a new standard for high-density pluggable infrastructure designed for 400Gb/s-per-lane fabrics. This initiative aims to build a robust ecosystem for 'AI factory' builders, ensuring a common foundation for suppliers to develop advanced optical modules. The partnership extends their existing work on NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking and Cisco Silicon One-based Ethernet networks.
