SM+ Launches 21MW AI-Ready Data Center in Jakarta, Indonesia

SM+ has officially opened SMX01, a new 21MW AI-ready data center in Jakarta, Indonesia, which commenced operations on November 1, 2026. This facility is designed to support high-density workloads, offering liquid-cooling capabilities and conventional air-cooling systems. Taiwanese cloud and AI infrastructure provider Konst is already leasing 15MW of liquid-cooled capacity at the new data center, marking a significant expansion of AI and cloud computing infrastructure in the region.
