Xiaomi Discloses Dual-Line Robotics Progress with Industrial and Home Applications

Xiaomi's robotics division has been recognized for its key technologies in a general-purpose robot operation base model designed for large-scale deployment. The company highlighted breakthroughs including an industrial robot completing an eight-hour shift at a car factory for console side cover sorting, and an embodied base model beginning a pilot run in Xiaomi Youth Apartments, managing complex multi-room task chains. Xiaomi plans to invest over 200 billion yuan in R&D within the next five years.
