Dutch Ministry of Defense Selects SAP Sovereign Cloud for Critical Digital Systems

The Dutch Ministry of Defense has signed a strategic agreement with SAP to develop and manage a sovereign cloud environment in the Netherlands. This initiative aims to modernize critical digital systems, enhance security, improve resilience, and lay the groundwork for future cloud and AI innovation within the European defense sector. The cloud environment is scheduled to become operational on January 1, 2028.
