Microsoft Sovereign Cloud Adds Six New Control Features

Microsoft has expanded its Sovereign Cloud offering by introducing six new control areas, including a Sovereign Control Panel and Data Guardian for European oversight. Key enhancements include the general availability of external key management with Azure Managed HSM, allowing organizations to control their encryption keys outside Microsoft's cloud. The update also supports GitHub Enterprise Local and Copilot with locally hosted AI models, targeting highly regulated and disconnected environments.
