Hanyang University Researchers Gain Control Over Where Semiconductor Crystals First Form

Researchers from Hanyang University and collaborating institutions have developed a method called etching-flux-mediated single-centred nucleation (EF-SCN) to precisely control where semiconductor crystals begin to form. This breakthrough, achieving over 99% single-crystal growth across 400 sites, is crucial for manufacturing two-dimensional semiconductors used in next-generation electronics.
