Supreme Court Upholds Michigan's Right to Pursue Line 5 Pipeline Case in State Court

The Supreme Court unanimously decided that Michigan's lawsuit against Enbridge's Line 5 pipeline can continue in state court. This ruling allows the state to pursue its efforts to decommission a segment of the pipeline. The Court determined that Enbridge's attempt to transfer the case to federal jurisdiction was untimely.
