USDA to Distribute $1.625 Billion to Specialty Crop Farmers

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has announced the enrollment period and payment rates for the Assistance for Specialty Crops Farmers program. This initiative will provide $1.625 billion to eligible producers to help mitigate elevated input costs and market disruptions. Farmers can begin applying in early June.
