Federal Judge Blocks Trump Administration's $1.7 Billion 'Anti-Weaponization Fund'

A federal judge has temporarily blocked the Trump administration from paying claims through a new $1.776 billion settlement fund intended for Republican allies who believe they were victims of a weaponized government. U.S. District Judge Leonie Brinkema also barred the fund's creation while litigation challenging it is pending, with a hearing scheduled for June 12.
