U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth met with his Philippine counterpart to reiterate commitment to their mutual defense treaty. Discussions focused on operational cooperation and strategic initiatives in the Indo-Pacific region. A new 15-year agreement on communications interoperability and security was also signed, strengthening the alliance.
