NSA, CISA, and Partners Issue Guidance to Harden Automatic Tank Gauge Systems Against Cyber Threats

The National Security Agency (NSA), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), and other U.S. government agencies have jointly released a fact sheet urging critical infrastructure sectors to harden Automatic Tank Gauge (ATG) systems. The guidance addresses malicious cyber activity targeting these systems, which are used to monitor fuel and liquid levels in storage tanks across energy, chemical, food and agriculture, and transportation sectors.
