U.S. Treasury Sanctions Iran's Largest Crypto Exchange and Other Platforms

The U.S. Treasury Department has sanctioned Nobitex, Iran's largest cryptocurrency exchange, along with three other crypto platforms. The Treasury accused these firms of providing significant support to the Iranian regime and facilitating the evasion of U.S. sanctions, including helping Iran's central bank boost its currency value and processing transactions for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
