FDA Approves Expanded Use of Pfizer's Hemophilia Treatment

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has broadened the approval for Pfizer's drug HYMPAVZI. This expansion now includes routine preventative treatment for adults and pediatric patients aged six and older with hemophilia A or B, even those with inhibitors. This marks a significant development as it offers the first subcutaneous non-factor prophylactic option for young children with hemophilia B.
