Justice Department Seeks to Strip U.S. Citizenship from 17 Naturalized Individuals for Serious Offenses

The Department of Justice has filed denaturalization actions against 17 individuals accused of serious offenses, including sexual abuse of a minor, wire and bank fraud, and drug distribution. The DOJ states that citizenship may be revoked if it was illegally procured or obtained through concealment or misrepresentation.
