Federal Agencies Launch New Procurement System for Grants Management

The Department of Health and Human Services, in collaboration with the General Services Administration, has introduced a new procurement pathway for federal grants management. This initiative, known as the Grants Management Special Item Number, aims to simplify how agencies acquire modern solutions for managing grants. The goal is to enhance efficiency and reduce instances of fraud, waste, and abuse in federal grant distribution.
