Justice Department Offers Nearly $700 Million in Grants for Law Enforcement

The Justice Department's Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office) has released nearly $700 million in grant Notices of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs). These grants aim to support law enforcement by aiding in hiring and retention of officers, enhancing school safety, promoting officer health and safety, and keeping communities safe. Priority will be given to jurisdictions cooperating with federal law enforcement on illegal immigration.
