EPA Proposes Revised PFAS Drinking Water Regulations
The Environmental Protection Agency has put forth new rules regarding PFAS in drinking water, including a compliance extension for some water systems. These proposals would grant eligible systems up to two additional years to meet federal standards and also seek to withdraw standards for three other PFAS compounds and a hazard index.
