President Trump Issues Policy to Strengthen Cybersecurity of National Security Systems

President Donald Trump has signed a memorandum directing the reestablishment of the Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) as part of efforts to bolster the cybersecurity of the country's national security systems (NSS). The directive also designates the National Security Agency (NSA) director as the national manager for NSS, responsible for providing technical advice to CNSS, recommending incident response actions, and issuing emergency directives for significant cybersecurity threats.
