Eligibility for Trump-Era Tariff Refunds Remains Contested

A disagreement persists over which businesses qualify for billions in tariff refunds, following a Supreme Court ruling that certain Trump-era tariffs were unlawfully imposed. Although an application system is available, the Justice Department is appealing a court order that sought to broaden eligibility beyond original litigants.
