DHS Updates Civil Rights Regulations to Align with DOJ and Executive Order

The Department of Homeland Security has finalized an amendment to its regulations concerning Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. This change brings DHS rules into closer alignment with a recent Department of Justice ruling and implements Executive Order 14281. The updated regulations are set to become effective on June 22, 2026.
