HHS Launches Initiatives to Combat Elder Fraud and Protect Seniors

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has introduced the Federal Elder Justice Action Plan, a comprehensive government strategy aimed at safeguarding older Americans. This plan is complemented by the 'Never EVER' national campaign, designed to educate and prevent fraud perpetrated by individuals impersonating officials. These efforts seek to reduce the significant financial losses, estimated at $28 billion annually, experienced by seniors due to scams.
