EPA Aligns Hazardous Chemical Reporting with Updated OSHA Standards

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is conforming its hazardous chemical inventory reporting regulations under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) Hazard Communication Standard amendments from 2012 and 2024. This regulatory update is intended to enhance first responder and community safety, reduce discrepancies, and improve clarity in reporting.
