CDC Extends Travel Restrictions for Travelers from Ebola-Affected Nations

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has prolonged its temporary ban on entry for certain non-U.S. citizens from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, and South Sudan. This 30-day extension, effective June 21, 2026, is a public health measure aimed at preventing the spread of Ebola into the United States. U.S. citizens and nationals are still permitted to enter but will undergo additional health screenings.
