U.S. Customs and Border Protection Indefinitely Suspends De Minimis Exemption for Most Imports

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has implemented an interim final rule indefinitely suspending the de minimis administrative exemption for imports valued at $800 or less arriving via all modes other than the international postal network. This means such entries must now utilize formal or informal entry procedures, effective June 24, 2026.
