Housing Bill Clears Congress, Faces Presidential Veto Threat

Both chambers of the U.S. Congress have approved the '21st Century ROAD to Housing Act,' a bill designed to support small-dollar mortgage loans. President Trump has indicated he may veto the legislation unless the Senate passes a separate bill concerning federal elections. The housing measure could still become law by early July if the President neither signs nor vetoes it.
