Federal Disaster Aid Approved for Virginia Farmers Following Frost and Freeze Events

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has declared 43 counties in Virginia as primary natural disaster areas due to severe late spring frost and freeze events. This declaration, made at the request of Governor Spanberger, makes affected farm operators eligible for emergency loan assistance to recover from agricultural and forestry losses.
