Representative Introduces Bill to Expand Pell Grants

Representative Mark Pocan, with 40 co-sponsors, has introduced a bill aimed at significantly expanding the federal Pell Grant program. The proposed legislation seeks to increase the maximum grant amount, restore and extend lifetime eligibility, and broaden aid access for Dreamer students, starting in the 2026–2027 academic year.
